I would like to recognize and congratulate our academy athletes for an outstanding job at Winter Nationals:  1st place J.J. Wolfe, 2nd place Brandon Briggs, 3rd place Gacob Lenox, 5th place Jared Packer, 6th place Reese Bielski & Alex Radar, Justin Dauphin & Daniel Nevitt both won matches.

Athlete of the Week!
This athlete came into practice with enthusiasm and confidence and a willingness to take-on and conquer the task at hand.  He attended extra practice sessions and attended all lifting sessions without losing drive or energy in the process.  At Winter Nationals, this athlete wrestled 3 matches 1^st match 15-0, 2^nd match 15-0, and 3^rd match 1-0.  In 3 matches he out scored his opponents 31-0.  Northern Illinois Wrestling Academy 1^st Athlete of the week goes to J.J. Wolfe.  Congratulations J.J. Wolfe!
